What is Reiki? Reiki is an ancient rediscovered healing art. Its origins have been around since the beginning of time. It's not new, just rediscovered. It is a gentle, non-invasive healing energy that at its core is unconditional love. It's the energy that's in everything; it's not separate from us. The word "Reiki" means universal life force that is spiritually- guided. You don't have to be of a particular religion or belief to benefit from it.
What does a Reiki session feel like? A Reiki session feels different for everyone that experiences it. Everyone's energy field is unique. Most people feel extremely relaxed and may even fall asleep when deep healing is occurring. Some people feel tingling or other sensations. Most of the time it's a deep feeling of relaxation that occurs. It's very powerful and gentle at the same time, always taking in consideration your will to release what YOU want to release. It can do no harm.

Long Distance Reiki
Reiki can be sent long distance and is just as effective as being in person. This is very helpful when a person or an animal lives far away or is too sick to travel. It is very beneficial for animals that are frightened and do not want to be touched.
